:-) The house was large and tidy, and the view was splendid.
:-( The road from the house (going up the mountain) to the asphalt road is a two-lane country road, made up of gravel and cobblestones. It was a rather steep road; getting to the top can be tricky, the tires slip easily.

Located just above Aosta, this detached house is spread over two floors and features two bedrooms with balconies, two bathrooms, and fantastic views of the mountain landscape from every room.
The house is newly built and therefore some parts are still being completed.
The air conditioning throughout the house ensured a pleasant room temperature despite the heat of the valley.
We were able to conveniently plan our excursions on a very large TV, as it easily connected to our computer (and the connection was allowed, which is not always a given!).
The central location makes it an excellent starting point for exploring the twelve side valleys of the Aosta Valley.
We stayed there for ten days, had beautiful, sunny weather, and were able to have breakfast every day on the nearly completed terrace, overlooking Mount Emilius and the other mountains.
Everything had been carefully prepared for our arrival: the coffee machine was full, there were plenty of large towels available, and the water supply was sufficient for days.
Andrea, our host, was always available; it was clear that making our stay enjoyable was important to him.
The Aosta Valley is beautiful, diverse, evocative, and full of exciting natural experiences; we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
At "Il Riparo Aosta" we had a spacious and quiet place to stay, which contributed to our relaxation.
We're giving it ten points, not because everything was perfect and meticulously detailed, but because we felt completely at ease and welcome, and because the accommodation is in a wonderful location.
Andrea's friendliness and reliability made our stay a success.
All future guests will be able to enjoy this result, and the house will certainly be even more welcoming with the refinished driveway and new light fixtures.
